Des Dalton begins his campaign in Athy

REPUBLICAN Sinn Féin candidate Des Dalton launched his local election campaign on Saturday March 7 by delivering leaflets to homes around Athy. Reaction on the doorsteps was very positive and Des Dalton said he is looking forward to beginning his canvass of the people of town.

“The purpose of our leaflet drop today and over the next week is to get our message of real and radical change directly to the people of Athy. The reaction so far has been excellent and I really look forward to beginning my canvass. It is vital that people are listened to and the issues that matter to them such as jobs, the basic cost of living and the ability to maintain and keep possession of their homes will be central to this campaign.” Des Dalton said.
